The Palo Alto County Attorney’s Office is now taking applications for the position of the Palo Alto County Attorney. This position will be responsible for cases in the following areas: Magistrate Docket, Adult Involuntary Committals (MH & SA), Indictable Misdemeanors, and Felonies. The person filling this position must possess the ability to do trial work, communicate with others effectively, and to build solid relationships with the public, law enforcement, and other governmental agencies. The position is full-time with health care and other benefits. Compensation based on experience. Salary will be negotiated.
Position requires a current valid license to practice law in the State of Iowa.
Palo Alto County residency is a requirement of employment.
As this is a law-enforcement position, candidates will be subject to a background investigation before a final offer is made.
